Welcome!
Welcome to our blog, House of Bean & Nugget. Everyone else seems to be blogging, so I thought we'd better get into the act. I'll try to be consistent and post often.
Ben and Rex are doing great. Ben is 3 & 3/4 years old and Rex is 3 1/2 months now. I don't know where the time goes. Seems like yesterday we were bringing them both home from the hospital.
Vanessa is 24 now and living in NYC. She's interning with a well-known photographer, Michael Thompson and she loves it. She's living with 2 roommates in Brooklyn. Her room is 5'x8'! Crazy small.
We had a wonderful last few days. Mike flew Vanessa in for Mother's Day weekend and surprised me last Thursday by bringing her home. It was the best surprise I think I've ever had. I cried when I saw her. We had a wonderful time playing with the boys and hitting up more TexMex restaurants than I care to think about.
The boys and I took her to the airport yesterday morning and it was a tough day. Things are returning to normal now, but boy, we sure do miss her when she's not here.
The boys are down for their naps now and I'm doing laundry yet again and starting dinner. I'll try to keep up with the bloggin'.
