Well, Rex has decided to get on a new schedule, which may be a good thing in the long run. He used to wake up anywhere from 5 a.m. to 6 a.m., nurse, then go back to sleep until about 9:30. Then he'd wake again, eat, and stay awake until a mystery time in the afternoon, nap again for 2-3 hours, then wake, then nap again in the evening for about an hour. Bedtime is usually 11 p.m. Lather, rinse, repeat.
He's now getting up about 7 to nurse and take a bottle, then staying awake until about 9:30, then following the rest of the old schedule. This is good. Morning naps, here we come!
Busy day ahead. Our internet went out yesterday after Crapcast came to install a new cable drop and disconnected some stuff (thanks, Crapcast!). So they showed up today to fix their mistake (thanks, Crapcast!). So far, so good.
The boys and I will be heading to the grocery store once Rex wakes from his nap, then to the cleaners. Just getting out of here for a couple of hours does us all good. If I had more energy, we'd run even more errands, but alas, it shall wait until tomorrow. At least the laundry and dusting are done.
Such is the life of an at-home mom. There's no "stay" in that moniker! It's only go, go, go. But what a blessing this life is!
